An integral GPS module, to geo-locate each profile, completes the package. Data can be easily and quickly downloaded and reviewed wirelessly, via Bluetooth, using the SWiFT App on iOS devices and instantly shared, in industry standard SVP formats through email and cloud services.
Using the provided USB adapter or cable, Valeport’s DataLog x2 software package provides further tools.
The world’s most accurate Sound Velocity sensor with virtually instantaneous response time, data acquisition rates of up to 32Hz housed in a low drag housing result in the highest quality profiles at drop rates over 5 m/s.
The rapidSV is designed to operate autonomously and optionally in conjunction with the Teledyne OceanScience rapidCAST underway profiling winch to deliver the highest quality SV casts, while the vessel is underway. Casts to a depth of 500m are possible with the vessel travelling at 8 knots.
0.01%accuracy, a titanium housing and a choice of pressure ranges make it a cost effective solution for offshore engineers, vehicle pilots, and other operators who require highly accurate depth information in real time.
The miniIPS is also supplied as an OEM for sensor integration to other manufacturers.
The miniIPS is compatible with Valeport’s MIDAS BathyPack and BathyLog software, allowing the depth data to be continually updated for Density variations in the water column.
The miniSVS is available in a selection of configurations and with optional pressure or temperature sensors. There are a number of size options to suit many applications.
miniSVS – still the most accurate sound velocity sensor in the world. Nothing else comes close.
