High Resolution, Multi-frequency Fan/Cone Beam Transducer with Tilt Block and Internal Compass
This 1171-series sonar head uses new transducer construction techniques optimized to provide low noise, high-resolution sonar operation at frequencies from 600 kHz to 1.5 MHz. This wide-frequency, dual transducer configuration is ideal for both imaging and profiling applications where data clarity supersedes any other requirement at operating ranges from 25 m out to more than 150 m. This 1171 sonar head is well suited for bottom clearance, body recovery, underwater construction support, pipeline and cable surveys, bridge and pier inspection applications. The open face transducer design is ideal for all water temperatures, and the beam pattern is not affected by thermal defocusing. The adjustable tilt block allows the operator to mechanically set the transducer tilt up to +/- 30°, as required for optimal imaging data acquisition. In addition to heading information, the internal compass module also provides pitch and roll information. This sonar head is operated using the MS 1000 software.
Small in size, but powerful in potential, the EM 2042 Multibeam Echosounder is efficient, light, robust and reliable: delivering high-density, high-resolution, clean data in the most demanding marine environments.
FOG-based high-performance subsea inertial navigation system for deep water
Phins Subsea is a subsea inertial navigation system providing position, true heading, attitude, speed, depth and heave. Its high-accuracy inertial measurement unit is coupled with an embedded digital signal processor that runs an advanced Kalman filter. Phins Subsea can be pre-assembled and pre-calibrated with a doppler velocity log sensor, making the system easy to install and ready to use for more precise navigation.
The Skate Laser is a precision subsea laser designed for subsea applications that require a high-quality image reference such as 3D modelling, machine vision, pipeline inspections, or marine species measurements.
It is available in various patterns and beam angles, including solid line beam or dotted grid pattern. SubC LEDs and lasers are plug-and-play when coupled with the Rayfin camera. This laser is qualified for shipping within the USA, Canada and internationally.
The MantaRay is a parallel beam laser designed for ROV and subsea systems. With a lifespan (MTBF) of at least 40,000 hours, the MantaRay laser is a dependable and reliable reference unit.
This laser projects two parallel beams that appear as green dots in images that are used to get distance and scale of underwater objects. It is lightweight, easily integrated with a subsea camera using a simple attachment, and is accurate to 5m distance. SubC LEDs and lasers are plug-and-play when coupled with the Rayfin camera.
A high-efficiency, TTL synchronized subsea LED that operates as both a lamp and a strobe. It can be integrated into subsea ROV, observatory, drop, tow, and battery-deployed camera systems.
Available at two depth ratings, the Aquorea can simultaneously operate as a lamp and strobe. When taking a photo, the LED’s activation time is tightly synchronized with the camera sensor exposure time to ensure the video stream is uninterrupted while collecting photos. SubC LEDs and lasers are plug-and-play when coupled with the Rayfin Camera.
