The miniCTD has been developed to provide a cost effective tool for the collection of CTD Profiles, without compromising the quality of the data.
Ideally suited to ROV, coastal, or small boat applications, the miniCTD will appeal to survey companies, military and academia alike, being both simple to use & easy to handle.
Sensors
The miniCTD is fitted with Valeport’s unique digital, high stability conductivity sensor, a PRT temperature sensor, and strain gauge pressure transducer. In addition to the measured parameters listed, Salinity and Density values are also calculated by the software.
The MIDAS WLR is a precision water level recorder, designed for use in both autonomous and real time deployments.
Fitted with a 0.01% accuracy pressure sensor and accurate PRT temperature sensor as standard, the MIDAS WLR features a variety of operating modes from rapid 8Hz continuous sampling to power saving burst modes for long term monitoring.
The instrument is available in either shallow water Acetal or deep water Titanium versions, and is suitable for fixed or in-line mooring, with a variety of communications options built in.
The MIDAS SVX2 is the latest version of Valeport’s unique instrument.
Recognising the conflict faced by users requiring the superior Sound Velocity data from an SVP, but still needing the Salinity and Density data from a CTD, the MIDAS SVX2 combines both technologies to give the best of both worlds.
Now fitted with a 0.01% pressure sensor as standard, the SVX2 also uses synchronised sampling to ensure perfect profiles, and since the digital time of flight SV sensor is the most accurate in the world, it’s also possible to compare the true sound velocity data with that generated by commonly used equations.
The MIDAS SVP is the most accurate Sound Velocity Profiler in the world.
As well as using Valeport’s digital time of flight sound velocity sensor, it now comes as standard with a 0.01% pressure sensor.
Every detail from the sensor accuracy through the titanium construction to the large memory and choice of communications methods has been considered – we truly believe it to be the ultimate SVP.
The MIDAS ECM is a highly versatile point current meter, designed with durability and ease of deployment in mind.
Valeport’s latest electronics architecture allows multiple additional sensors, and a variety of communications options, making it one of the few multi-parameter current meters that allows real time operations over several thousand metres of cable, as well autonomous deployments.
A choice of Titanium or Acetal housing gives depth rating up to 5000m
Valeport applies its unique distributed processing technology to the MIDAS CTD+, resulting in a multiparameter CTD that is essentially tailor made to suit each customer’s requirements.
The instrument is able to accept any combination of a range of industry standard sensors, giving calibrated data in both autonomous and real time operations.
A choice of titanium or acetal construction makes it suitable for coastal or deep water operations, and the intuitive software allows a range of both simple and complex sampling regimes.
The MIDAS CTD is an accurate, robust CTD Profiler.
As well as using Valeport’s high stability conductivity sensor, which maintains performance at extreme temperatures and pressures, the MIDAS CTD is fitted with a high accuracy 0.01% pressure sensor as standard.
It also features our unique synchronised sampling technique to ensure that all sensors are sampled at exactly the same time for perfect profiles. Titanium construction and a variety of communications methods make the MIDAS CTD ideal for real-time or autonomous profiling in virtually all conditions.
