The new benchmark for small ROVs
With HydroPACT 660 Teledyne Marine brings the world’s smallest submarine, pulse induction pipe tracker to market. Built upon the already established, industry standard and world leading TSS HydroPACT 440 system, the HydroPACT 660 continues the legacy by bringing pipe tracking and UXO detection capabilities to small inspection and observation class ROVs, for applications that were previously only available on larger vehicles such as work class ROVs and trenchers.
The new HydroPACT 660 sports a single small form factor coil array measuring 1200mm x 600mm, which, weighing in at <16kg, has an operating range of greater than 85% of that of the significantly larger HydroPACT 440 system. This smaller and lighter coil array is very well-suited to smaller ROVs, offering users the opportunity to significantly reduce their operating costs on future projects.
Accurate motion measurement in all sea conditions.
The DMS range of motion sensors is designed specifically for the motion measurement needs of the marine industry.
Whether it is achieving IHO standard survey from any size of vessel, or providing safety critical monitoring of offshore platforms, large vessels, helicopter landing decks, cranes and positioning systems, the DMS provides accurate motion measurement in all sea conditions.
Incorporating an enhanced external velocity and heading aiding algorithm for improved accuracy during dynamic manoeuvres, the solid state angular rate sensors offer reliability in the highest performing vertical reference unit ever produced by TSS.
Industry standard subsea pipe and cable detection.
There are thousands of miles of pipes and cables beneath our oceans. Commercial, legal and operational considerations demand that these remain in good order.
This requirement creates a constant need to verify location, condition and burial status – operations that are complicated by the ever-changing seabed topography.
