The STR SeaCam system is a modern hi-specification multi-camera inspection system, developed for a wide range of subsea applications and environments from drop camera work to down-hole survey.

The highly versatile system can be configured with up to 8 off SeaCam Mini IP cameras and up to 16 off SeaLight LED-1-DC underwater LED lamps and addition to a range of Ethernet based sensors such as imaging sonars.

The EdgeTech 2050-DSS is the latest product to combine EdgeTech’s highly successful line of side scan sonars and sub-bottom profilers into one fully integrated system. This is especially useful where high resolution sub-bottom profiler data, that requires the system to be towed near the seabed, is required. The 2050-DSS is a tri-frequency side scan sonar system, where any two, operator selectable, frequencies can be operated simultaneously. The system can be provided with either a 120, 410 & 850 kHz towfish, or a 230, 540 & 850 kHz towfish. Both towfish options are equipped with a 2-16 kHz sub-bottom profiler, that utilizes a PVDF panel receive hydrophone. Use of an area based receive hydrophone panel provides improved beam patterns and therefore improved signal to noise ratio’s, which in turn means cleaner data.

GAME-CHANGING ACCURACY

STR Seacast system

The STR SeaCast provides a real-time sound velocity profiling solution for deployment from a moving vessel.

The system uses a fully closed loop control system to ensure accurate and reliable deployment to required depth, seabed avoidance technology is used to ensure safe deployment.
GAME-CHANGING ACCURACY
Real time Sound Velocity data is provided by the system, maximising confidence that the SV cast has been successful. The transparent serial data comms also supports industry standard Sound Velocity, CTD & environmental sensors.

The SeaCast minimises operational downtime, by allowing profiling to be undertaken while the vessel is in motion. Deployment and recovery time is much improved, with the compact design allowing for operation on small vessels. Native integration for remote functionality allows the SeaCast to be remotely operated, supporting utilisation of lean crewed vessels and automated surface vessels, increasing employee safety.

  • Real-time sensor data
  • Supports industry standard SV, CTD + environmental sensors
  • 500 m deployment cable
  • High speed operation
  • Closed loop depth control
  • Seabed avoidance sensor
  • Software control
  • Optimises vessel operations; reduces vessel downtime by eliminating the need to recover survey equipment between deployments.
  • Operational versatility – Suitable for both manned and unmanned vessels allowing your investment to go further.
  • Reduced risk exposure as its capable of functioning fully autonomously or with partial manual control, adapting to operational needs.
  • Requires minimal maintenance with a streamlined spares package, maximising operational efficiency.
  • Enabling cost effective solutions, improving project performance, operational versatility, and profitability due to reduced downtime.
