The 8242XS Acoustic Release Transponder is a field-proven, reliable, and versatile mooring instrument.

The 8242XS is made entirely of Nickel Aluminum Bronze alloy with titanium closure hardware for very long deployments with no corrosion. Acoustic status reply includes tilt and release state.

Command structure proven in the toughest acoustic environments anywhere. Many of these releases are over 15 years old and still in use.

The 6205 utilizes EdgeTech’s next generation bathymetric technology to provide an enhanced and fully integrated, swath bathymetry and dual frequency side scan sonar system.

The 6205 produces real-time, high resolution, three dimensional (3D) maps of the seafloor while providing co-registered simultaneous dual frequency side scan imagery.

TRI-FREQUENCY / MOTION TOLERANT SIDE SCAN SONAR SYSTEM

The next generation 4205 is a versatile side scan sonar system that can be configured for almost any survey application from shallow to deep water operations. The 4205 utilizes EdgeTech’s Full Spectrum® CHIRP technology to provide crisp, high resolution imagery at ranges up to 50% greater than non-CHIRP systems; thus allowing customers to cover larger areas and save money spent on costly surveys. In addition to the high-resolution imagery that EdgeTech is known for, the 4205 comes with a number of new features which makes the system even more flexible and powerful in offshore operations.

The 4205 is available in either a tri-frequency side scan sonar configuration or motion tolerant and multi-pulse configuration. The tri-frequency version allows surveyors the option to operate any two frequencies simultaneously from the tri-frequency system. Long range operations for example can be achieved with a selection of 230/540 kHz combination. Then, on-demand the system can be changed to a 540/850kHz system for an even higher resolution survey.

The 4205 motion tolerant configuration with multi-pulse provides surveyors the ability to operate either at faster survey speeds or in more adverse weather conditions while still obtaining high quality underwater imagery. Additionally, this configuration can be operated in a single pulse high-resolution mode for those operations that require an even more finite view of the seafloor.

The 4200 Series is a versatile side scan sonar system that can be configured for almost any survey application from shallow to deep water operations.

The 4200 utilizes EdgeTech’s Full Spectrum® CHIRP technology to provide crisp, high resolution imagery at ranges up to 50% greater than non-CHIRP systems; thus allowing customers to cover larger areas and save money spent on costly surveys.

EdgeTech’s 4125 Side Scan Sonar System was designed with both the Search & Recovery (SAR) and shallow water survey communities in mind.

4125 utilizes EdgeTech’s Full Spectrum® CHIRP technology, which provides higher resolution imagery at ranges up to 50% greater than non-CHIRP systems operating at the same frequency. This translates into more accurate results and faster surveys, thus cutting down on costs.

The EdgeTech 3200 Sub-bottom Profi ling System is a wideband Frequency Modulated (FM) sub-bottom profi ler utilizing EdgeTech’s proprietary Full Spectrum CHIRP technology.

The 3200 generates high resolution images of the sub-bottom stratigraphy in oceans, lakes, and rivers and provides penetration of up to 200m.

The 3200 comes available with a choice of three stable, low drag towfi sh that operate at different frequencies and can be used at depths of up to 300m. The selection of towfi sh depends on the sub-bottom characteristics as well as the resolution and penetration requirements.

The 3100 is EdgeTech’s portable version of their highly successful sub-bottom profi ler product line.

The system utilizes EdgeTech’s Full Spectrum CHIRP technology which provides higher resolution imagery of the sub-bottom structure and greater penetration.
