STR 5 Channel Magnetometer Extender System
The STR MiniPort DTS has been engineered to provide a robust and efficient power and communications network over long lengths of subsea cabling, such as armoured coaxial tow cables used for sidescan sonars and ROV umbilical’s.
The MiniPort DTS is ideal for extending the range and depth capabilities of equipment and sensors which ordinarily use RS232 communication and 24V DC.
The system is capable of delivering up to 300W @ 24VDC along with 4 independent RS232 channels and TTL trigger for USBL positioning systems. All communication is performed using advanced techniques to provide extremely low latency and maximum robustness.
